Yesterday, I went on a 220 mile trip with my son in his Rivian. The
ride comfort and lack of engine rumble is so soothing. The real
problem with EVs is the Level 3 charging infrastructure. We almost
missed our dinner appointment because both 350KW chargers at Electrify
America in my town were down. I checked them two days before and they
were functional. They seem to die for no apparent reason.

**Possibly. More likely, it's because his political masters have
instructed him that oil = good, electricity = bad. It's the same thing
with electricity generation. He considers that coal/nuclear = good,
    Solar PV/wind = bad.

He has a very simple mind that is easily led by liars and charlatans.
Pretty much like every Republican voter. They have this 'hive mind'
mentality and are incapable of independent thought. It's all a bit sad,
given that almost 50% of Americans are like him.

You're just completely full of shit....and no matter how often I post what I think
you're till just too completely delusionally insane to get it.
There is no point in explaining it to you yet again because you're just a stupid insane brainwashed moron.
But here it is in simpleton terms.
    Coal is bad.
Nuclear is good as it is reliable and could be inexpensive and plentiful.
Wind and solar are very expensive and unreliable.
E-Cars are going to overload the grid. We already have punitive charging rates of 80c/KwH from 4 to 10 PM. You think our generation is going to keep up with the demand of ever more e-cars charging overnight?

A former colleague just dropped 80K on a solar system with 25k in battery storage
because he got a 1500$ electric bill a few months ago.
And if that doesn't work out well enough he's going to drop another 20K on a Nat gas powered generator.
He basically said fuck it...he's not going to live like a 3rd world peasant in an energy deprived existence
that Ca. is forcing on everyone but the upper 10%.
And with both he and his wife well employed in the tech world, they have the cash to do it.

You? You'd very quickly be homeless in Ca. today.

It's OK, dumbass. We don't expect you to make sense in a human way.
I'd advise Trevor that arguing with Witlesstard is futile. They only "know" what they want to "know". What humans recognize as fallacy and contradiction
in Witless-spew is, to them, a catechism of imponderables.

Witlessmoron does not want to understand the effects of fossil-fuel combustion. They are aided in that self-abnegation by troupe of corrupt politicians who pander
to all the Witlessmorons in the country. It's similar to Witlessidiot's insistence
that the best news organizations in the world are "biased" because they do not reinforce the idiotic prejudices to which MAGA-turds are yoked. Witlessdolt admitted this failing explicitly recently when they conflated awareness of climate change with what they call "fear". As stupid as that mistake is, it reveals
the how lazy and closed-mined Witless and their ilk really are.

That's great but it's just one plant already in operation.
Where the fuck were dems for the last 40 years where no new plants were built and many plants were shut down?

Why wasn't it done yesterday? If nukes were profitable, utilities would
    have built them.

The equation has changed because the cost of carbon now includes its
    effect on climate.
