    I'll bet no one knew this. Witless believes that the KKK were a
    legitimate extension of police forces, and their activities served
    the public good. They were "christians", you know, and that claim
    is a time-honored cover for all kinds of bigotry and persecution.

    Since you mentioned me, FF doesn't know what you believe but he can
    guess based on years of your postings.

    The KKK was vital to the passing of the Immigration Act of 1924 which
    might have affected his forbears who I assume were central European. The
    KKK was anti-Catholic as well but that was then. Who knows what's
    changed since.
