    What took 'em so long?

    It took some time to make a new case after the 2015 prosecution failed
    on a hung jury.

    Can't say he wasn't under scrutiny. I wonder if the Ken Paxton "the
    voters knew I was a crook when they voted for me" defense will be used.

    It worked for Trump's emoluments. Lawsuits were held up because he was president, then declared moot when he wasn't.
