They're usually shown to be as dumb or dumber than actors and actresses when they
get off script and don't have a director directing them.
Or watch them morph into someone completely different when they jump networks like Anna Navarro. These aren't people of high integrity.

If I wanted to see the sausage of producing a news show I'd be more interested in
what the producer thinks.
But none of this matters, because News shows at all the networks long ago lost their
integrity. They all tailor their news to their audience. They all dance the line between truth
and fiction between catering to the audience but can't openly lie without consequences.
Sadly....those consequences are becoming less and less consequential as the years go by
though CNN did manage to lose a majority of their audience.
But between cable fees and airport deals backstopping their losses...they don't seem to really even give a shit about that.
In the rare occasion when CNN and Fox are saying the same thing, like they recently did
by saying the bank transactions released for the Biden family don't look good...then you
can probably bank on that being true.
Otherwise....I wouldn't even say "trust but verify". It's verify before trusting.
