  • Can Stephen get a GIFT?

    According to its website, the program will prioritize the following demographics for enrollment: "transgender, non-binary, gender non-conforming, and intersex people who are also Black, indigenous, or people of color (BIPOC), experiencing homelessness,
    living with disabilities and chronic illnesses, youth and elders, monolingual Spanish-speakers, and those who are legally vulnerable such as TGI people who are undocumented, engaging in survival sex trades, ​or are formerly incarcerated."

    Stephen might have to touch up his resume.

    The way I read this, one has to be trans, non binary, gender non conforming, or inter sex, AND one of the following A through Z

    So if one is a white transgender, not disabled, middle aged, English speaking, living in a home, documented,
    and not a whore or ex-con, one is SHIT OUT OF LUCK

    You're a stimulus to overcome a deficit. Hard to imagine how that works.

    The city started the task force back in early April to find ways to counter an anticipated budget deficit of $1.6 billion,

    program ran beginning in May, 2021.
