With a trade surplus of $50b with India and $500b USA there is
no reason why China should get away with restricting these movies to
tens a year. Judwaa2 would be a huge hit in China

    China has
strict regulations on the number of foreign films allowed to be shown
each year, typically limiting it to about 34 films. This quota system
is part of Chinas broader strategy to control cultural influence and
    promote domestic films.

Regarding Judwaa 2, it was a significant hit in India, becoming the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2017. Given its success and the
popularity of Bollywood films in various international markets, its
quite possible that it could do well in China too. However, the strict censorship and quota system might pose challenges for its release
    there.

Do you think more Indian films should be promoted internationally?

This is a response to the post seen at: http://www.jlaforums.com/viewtopic.php?p=402961382#402961382
