No, I think I know what he means. I don't seriously expect anyone to
write to him with "What I did on my day of being ta'veren", but some historical figures show signs of what effect ta'veren seem to have in

Heck, in a way even Hitler showed "ta'verenness". Here's a failed,
pathetic little painter who never made it beyond corporal in WW1.
And he wraps an entire people, its intelligentsia, its finance, its
military around his fingers. People who met him often commented about
his "magnetism".

Donald Trump seems to have ta'verenness too! He has the entire GOP under his spell! Over 40% of the voters adore him! Nothing seems to dent the devotion of his fans!
I think that's what M.Hettinger meant.
