    Yes. I was once close to someone who seemed to have an uncanny talent for both affecting people in power and attracting interesting events. She has, without making any effort, affected the lives of various famous people and the fate of an African country
    just by passing through. It is always exciting to be around her because something interesting will invariably happen.

    No, I think I know what he means. I don't seriously expect anyone to
    write to him with "What I did on my day of being ta'veren", but some historical figures show signs of what effect ta'veren seem to have in
    the WoT.

    Heck, in a way even Hitler showed "ta'verenness". Here's a failed,
    pathetic little painter who never made it beyond corporal in WW1.
    And he wraps an entire people, its intelligentsia, its finance, its
    military around his fingers. People who met him often commented about
    his "magnetism".

    Talk about wrapping the Pattern around you *shudder*.

    Donald Trump seems to have ta'verenness too! He has the entire GOP under his spell! Over 40% of the voters adore him! Nothing seems to dent the devotion of his fans!

    I think that's what M.Hettinger meant.
