[SPOILERS - in case someone hasn't seen it yet]

I watched the animated Disney movie "Strange World" today. It's an okay
movie. Somewhat of a peculiar mixture of "Journey to the Centre of the
Earth", "Fantastic Voyage", and Terry Pratchett / ancient myth of the
world being on the back of a turtle.

The annoying thing about the movie was all the Politically Correct tick
box / quotas Disney purposely insisted on ticking:

    - The main character is White, and his wife and son are Black.
    - The son is gay (unnecessary pushed, but nothing to do with the story).
    - The country's President is Asian.
    - Even the family's dog just had to be disabled (it only has three legs).

    :-\

The ending didn't really make sense either. They were using the plant
seeds as a power source, but after killing the plant they still had
    power a year later!?
