There are quite a lot of details in Apothecary Diaries like this. Some
fans dislike Maomao's small size, but as a child of poverty in the red
light district, it's an appropriate build for her backstory. All in all,
it's a wonderful anime that has shocked me with how much I've enjoyed it.
