The whole thing feels off to me.
First we've never seen her before (I think).
Second, she calls Dag "Sir" like he's a big deal.
Third, we have never seen anybody between Dag & Dithers.
Dithers shows up at Dagwood's desk whenever he feels like it.
Ah, OK, I get it now (after noticing the 22nd's is another
targeted comic): 23rd is Secretaries' Day.
Still pretty awkward.
