    ones, are always looking for some miniscule flaw to get their own side

    If a person is guilty of a serious crime, then gets let off because a
    comma is in the wrong place (or the police didn't give the criminal a
    hot cup of cocoa at bedtime, etc.), then the defence lawyer is a
    scumbag and the legal system is a complete joke.
