Infra-Yellow!
Gotta love old DC. One wonders about the scale here, especially the car & the man as compared with the safe and the dial..
Actually, in the story, the Earth in the safe is the evil aliens’ voodoo
doll (so to speak) of Earth. As long as the miniature is in the vault,
the aliens can’t destroy the real Earth.
Oh, and it's not a car. It's the hero's space pickup that he was
delivering the safe to the purchaser in when he stumbled over the Evil
Plot. (Under the circumstances, the purchaser gives him an extension.) Interestingly, it scarcely resembles the version in the actual story
pages at all.
A pretty decent story on its own terms—otherwise I wouldn’t have
instantly remembered it 66 years later. See
