• Disqus replacement goes belly-up

From Ed Rush@21:1/5 to All on Thu Dec 15 14:46:20 2022
Comics Kingdom's new replacement for the Disqus commenting software has been totally dormant lately. Perhaps they read some of the complaints and yanked it to try again.

Not sure what you mean, I see comments on today's comics.

Oddly, the comments cannot be accessed easily from the subscribers-only Favorites page. One has to go through the archive (or otherwise
navigate) to a particular strip, even the current one. Evidently their engagement strategy excludes people who already subscribe.

Mark put it so succinctly...why make subscribers jump through hoops to find out how to access the comments? They almost seem hidden. I had to have to discover this-->go to archives and select TODAY'S comic to read, much less comment, on the strip.
Oh, improvement (?!?) coming "sometime" in 2023 for the site. Hmmm and hah.

I can't explain why Mark got 'em and I didn't, for a couple of days, but today the comments were back.

I, too, see comments, and, if I make one, get both Likes and replies.
