I noticed that Beware of Toddler quotes Charles Schulz as saying,
"All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't
hurt." Does anyone know if this saying really originated with Schulz?
This question has nagged at me for several years now. One thing I do
know is that the above saying does not appear anywhere in "The Complete Peanuts." Furthermore, you can find hundreds of places on the Internet
that confidently attribute it to Schulz or some Peanuts character, but
I have never seen anyone give a more precise source. Maybe it appears
in one of those gift books ("Happiness is...") or in a greeting card or
in an animated show?
