Peanuts: Sally's Summer

Hey, we did the same thing this summer, watched tv. I did not even get
my new home pc built yet even though I bought the parts a year ago.
Back before I retired, I would take a week off three times a year.
Sometimes I would do the more strenous and time-consuming cleanups.
Sometimes I would hike over and watch one or two movies each day.
Sometimes I would enhance my computer system, such as by buying a
scanner and then getting it to work with my SCSI setup.
But one week I did nothing much else than play the Windows 3.1
Minesweeper (remember that?) in advanced mode. By the end of the week
I was doing quite well.
Now that I'm retired, of course, every week is a week off -- and so no
week is.
Such is life.
