To my eyes, it is like /Ready Player One/ or non-original Jumanjis
done correctly.
If you ever wanted to see an enraged Rich Guy literally take an axe to
a server farm, this is your movie!

Ready Player One was awesome. I look forward to Ready Player Two even
though I already read and reviewed the book.
What is a non-original Jumanji ?

The two relatively recent movies taking place /inside/ Jumanji.
Which is somehow transformed into an electronic game, BTW.
The /original/ /Jumanji/ takes place in our world. Well, our world
with a very strange board game in it.

The original game discovered (based on a very small sample) that modern >children dont like board games, and so evolved itself into something

I disagree. The original Jumanji takes place in a very strange jungle
world that leaks out into the real world.

I'm not sure what this is supposed to convey.
The first of these two later films has a sequence that may or may not
be intended to show a kid doing the transformation.
The /original/ /Jumanji/ takes place in our world. Well, our world
with a very strange board game in it.

That might make sense, but I didn't get it from the first of the two
later films.

And the comments there mention that, in the second of the original
books, the Jumanji game replaces itself with the space game Zathura when
kids don’t want to play it. The game really wants to be played (reminds
me of Steinbeck’s “The Affair at 7 rue de M”).
