Probably won't be a lot of similarity to his long-running webcomic:
https://somethingpositive.net/
As you may or may not be aware, we basically got a preview of what we'll
be getting, two years ago, when Popeye's Cartoon Club was revived for
him for about a month.
Among other things, he appears to have it set up where *Castor Oyl*, of
all characters, feels like an integral part of the cast who should never
again be written out. Was he a plainclothes detective already the last
time someone used him?
That's partly because Randy has moved Castor's daughter Deezil into the
comic canon and she plays a role that really did need playing.
He created a single character in that who'll eventually have a name; I
suspect the first time we see the Sea Hag, she'll already have her
green-haired intern.
OK, check that, he created *two* characters with names and gave us our
first actual sighting of Whaler Joe. But the other character, another
distant Oyl cousin named Snake, is likely to never reappear.
Comments at CK were overwhelmingly positive, but also overwhelmingly
came from people like me who had never commented on a Popeye page before
(aside from the Cartoon Club ones).
