Reminds me of a newpaper article I read some years ago, about different cultures and how they phrase rejection letters.
It told the story of a Western journalist who had submitted
something to a Chinese publication. He received a letter stating
that the level of his work was so good that they could not print
it because, afterwards, they could print nothing else for fear
their readers would complain about the fall in quality.
The Westerner was livid, but apparently this kind of thing is a
standard, businesslike Chinese rejection letter.
