I support the idea of head-canon so I am happy
if people wish to ignore stuff in a television
show that they didn't like... this is sensible.
I use head canon to add to the show, not remove whole
eras.
HEAD CANON: A POEM
In quiet corners of the mind,
Where canon leaves some gaps behind,
I plant a seed, a “what if” grows,
A truth the writer never knows.
No show could hold the truth complete,
So fans step in to make it sweet.
A patchwork love, both fierce and wide,
Where canon can’t, headcanons guide.
Because the show won’t tell it all,
And canon can’t or won’t recall.
But we were there, we saw it too.
Our headcanon makes it true.
My headcanon: a sacred text,
Where “what comes after” isn’t next.
It is, it was, it’s all in play,
Between each pause and fade to gray.
Not bound by script or actor's fate,
I write the scenes they never ate.
A universe where tears unshed
Find voice and light inside my head.
So call it false, a fan made truth,
A fiction nestled in my youth.
But canon’s only part, you see,
The rest belongs to fans like me.
