Very few reboots / ressurections / remakes last as long as the original
Partly because the fools in charge usually make so many changes that it
really has nothing to do with the original it is supposedly "based on".
Partly because the times have changed, people's preferences have
changed, the original cast and crew (if they return) are all older, and
it's simply not possible to recapture the moment of magic that made the original version popular.

Having said that, "Queer as Folk" was ridiculous garbage the first time
around anyway. :-p
