From Bobbie Sellers@21:1/5 to All on Sun May 18 12:43:10 2025
Hello again denizens of sf written,

The first listed is the first book i borrowed from the Library when
I was out of the Rehabilitation facility. I had not read it before.

Bad Luck Vampire by Lynsay Sands, read in April 2025
Another Life Mate is found for Alisdair, twin of Coole
Usual endless sex scenes but no conversion trauma yet for the
new Life Mate. But a deranged family friend tries to murder
the nearly unkillable immortal which furnishes a bit of
    conflict in the story.

"Twice Bitten" by Lynsay Sands Saturday May 17,.2025
Another chapter in the mating history of the Argeneau Immortals.
This was much more interesting than the Bad Luck Vampire.
Maybe it is because we have a young (140 yoa) heroine who has
immigrated to North America(Canada) to escape a really controlling
Mother who now only has a set of twins to control. The pressure on
the twins is too much so they convince the mother to make an
unscheduled visit. Their arrival would have been unwelcome in any
event but they show up at a bad time. But her landlady's grandson is
someone she has met before but she does not remember her birthday
adventure in London. So the story is pretty good and lots of blood
is drunk from bags and spilled from immortals.
Oh and I have read it before but enjoyed it very much.
This is in hardcover from April 2018 and cost US~$29 while
the Canadian price was ~$33. I am glad I got it at the SF Public
Library which helps me keep the printed population of my studio
apartment from exploding and keeps me within my budget.

    Much cheaper second hand.

bliss - who has already posted the review of the third book which I am
    not going to re-read..
