Wonder if they'll be able to see down into Pellucidar?
I think that was a tunnel into the Earth ?
I am taking it that by "tunnel" you mean something slanted, not
something that goes straight down.

I suppose it could really be the entrance to a tunnel, but I've always
thought of it as a very deep vertical hole.
