    The "Era of Rapproachment" appears, online, to be /Forty Thousand in
    Gehenna/, /Cyteen/, and /Regenisis/. That doesn't give it a lot of
    meaning. I would think something with /that/ name would be about the
    end of the Union/Alliance split.

    There are limited-life servants (if not actual azi) in /Port Eternity/
    as well. These appear to be earlier novels, before the concept was
    finalized, so the inclusion of either in the Era of Rapproachment is
    probably more a matter of Marketing than anything else.
