In other words, the trump oligarchy wants to feed even more public
money into the pockets of his cronies.

Sigh. More TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome).

The only sufferers from TDS that I can find are people who voted for
him and have now lost their jobs, governmental or merely dependent on governmental support, and those who may or may not lose their
Medicaid. Or, worse, find that, after their parents lose /their/
Medicaid, they are now expected to support them, since their parents
were required to spend down all their assets to qualify for Medicaid.

Shooting down thousands of Starlink satellites is infinitely harder that >shooting down 31 GPS satellites.

That said, backups are nice. But why Starlink? Is there not at least
one other system that could be used, one /not/ so blatantly linked to
    Trump through Musk?

And, there is no backup for the current GPS system.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_Positioning_System#Backup_system

That's talking about "terrestrial backup systems". The Starlink
    satellites are /not/ terrestrial.

And why is there no backup? Poor Planning? Or political stinginess to
    pay for one?

Is the fact that Musk can't make any money out of it the reason
reviving LORAN is not being proprosed? Or is there some valid reason?
