I don't remember August 1960 as such (too much fun outside to care
what month it was). But it /is/ a reminder that it really /can/ rain
at any time in Seattle!
I'm in Vancouver (about 120 miles directly north of Seattle) and by >comparison Seattle is desert-like by comparison.
And it looks like the first 9 days of September are going to be dry
and sunny. And mid-70s mostly. Excellent Summer weather.
This may be one of those years when I don't turn the furnace on until
October!
