  • [Worst] The American Zone by L. Neil Smith

From James Nicoll@21:1/5 to All on Tue Jun 18 13:15:52 2024
The American Zone (North American Confederacy, volume 5) by L. Neil Smith

Can the PI's habit of derailing the investigation to focus on political
rants triumph over the bad guys' habit of carefully explaining to the
PI their goals and methods? Not a parody.

I'm solely familiar with L. Neil Smith from Big Head Press. This
review, of course, does not surprise me.

Have you ever read Smith's _Their Majesties Bucketeers_? IIRC, it is his
third published novel and doesn't have many political lectures.

I have fond but very vague memories of that one.
