• Free Romance Day (with PR, UF, & SF included)

From Ted Nolan @21:1/5 to All on Wed Dec 27 16:51:22 2023
Debra Dunbar announces on her email list today:

    Hey, you!

Today is the official Indie Stuff Your eReader Day of the year!

And here are 3 amazing reasons to browse our lists instead of just
zooming straight to Amazon and typing FREE into the search bar:

    1. Romance Book Worms include categories the retailers don't! Young
adult romance is actually young adult romance, and not jammed with
other books that like Birdwatching for Teens or Care and Feeding
of Young Hippos. (Although I'd probably one-click those books)

    2. There are DIFFERENT BOOKS free on non-Amazon retailers! If you start
with the Romance Bookworms website, you can check out more than one
retailer, and download all the books you want.

    3. All books included in the lists are submitted by indie authors who >contribute to lifting up this community event. This is a labor of love,
a celebration of reading, and an amazing opportunity to find a
new-to-you author. Stick it to the man/big corporate weenies and
    support your scrappy rebel indies!

In the past I have found some decent reads on these promos, but
    obviously YMMV:

There is a related "free/$0.99 SF" thread on Reddit -- https://www.reddit.com/r/Fantasy/comments/18r94ge/over_700_books_free_or_099_more_than_200/
    . It links to https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/116Qj2TOuTJ30ZyPzMWiujxK9ZL_v6lJk2ORO5dcaYKY/edit#gid=0
because Reddit posts have a limit on the number of characters and the
    list is huge.

There is also a "progression fantasy/LitRPG" subset on https://www.reddit.com/r/ProgressionFantasy/comments/18rw826/700_books_on_sale_or_free_for_the_next_two_days/
    .

Note that a few links are broken, but overall it's a useful resource.
