    Absolutely one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Period!
    Nonsensical plot, terrible, terrible acting, horrible score and a
    rock bottom low budget. And if you have an interest in playing
    poker, as I do, don't bother. There is nothing in this mess about
    real poker. It looks like a group of high school seniors
    scrapped together a few $thousand bucks, wrote this silly mess
    and filmed it over the weekend! Don't waste your time!

    And the guy is playing poker, card counting is for blackjack.

    21 (2008) goes into blackjack card counting heavily.

    There are some old-school tricks that can give you a leg up in poker
    though (of course you might lose your leg if you get caught by another
    player or an eye in the sky, lol).
