Off for a remote weekend with her boyfriend's friends, Iris is worried
they won't like her. COMPANION (on Max) is a smartly scripted -- and eminently spoilable -- sci-fi thriller. IMDb bills it as a 'dark
comedy', and that's really all you should know. Well recommended.

Why not give the "spoilers"? It's not really the plot of a
movie that defines it but how it plays out. There are no
movies I've seen that are "ruined" for me by knowing how
    it ends.

Some people do proclaim that view. I don't ...and compare it to, say,
reading about a new roller-coaster rather than riding it.
