I thought that on the whole this was a solid effort, and a bit
outside the normal Disney parameters. There were some very nice
touches such as Raya's vehicle in her (somewhat intentionally
misleading) opening sequence and later. The whole "you must learn to
trust" simplisism did undercut things a bit as did the comic relief
ninja team, but in the end a visually beautiful and fun movie.

As a Southeast Asian people, I love how this movie show that Asian isn't just >about Japan, Korea, and China. Also how the message is what we really need now >that's about unity in diversity. It's a warm movie to watch with your family. >remember animation isn't always about kids.
