Not a bad film. Not crazy about the off-kilter camera work with its zooming and free-hand effects.
Shaky cam is aannoying as hell.
However, it did capture the basics of what happened to the company that failed to see changes in the market.
Though a film about Nokia would have been equally welcomed to show what happens when a company goes
from dominance to almost nothing. Interestingly, more advanced Blackberry's still sell on Ebay for actual money.
Odds are I'll never see this movie, so what happened to Blackberry and Nokia?
Blackberry was mismanaged and missed the development of the iPhone and Samsung. By the time they brought out an all screen phone "The Storm" it was too late and the phone was flawed Nokia suffered a similar fate. Interesting notes; U.S. Robotics
tried to screw Blackberry early on by pretending modems they build for them were defective and stock fraud cost Blackberry its CEO. Blackberry survived and now makes security software, high-level stuff.
