    M3GAN is an indestructible life-size AI robot doll (MSRP $10k) that will
    surely take over the billion-dollar toy market if only the prototype can
    stop offing the adults. A PG-13 rating keeps the gore off-screen, so
    this "sci-fi horror" fantasy is no more threatening than it is
    challenging. Good looking time waster. Minimally recommended.

    My main question throughout the movie was why in the blue fuck did they
    design a robot that's supposed to be a kid's companion with the strength
    and speed of a T-800 series Terminator?

    To protect the kid from classroom bullies? I tried to figure out
    whether there was actually an idea for a movie in here, but I just
    settled for missing Michael Crichton.

    Since scripts a re written by homo sapiens it's very rare for one to create a genuinely different sentient character. Runamuck robot is so much easier.
