  • Why remake a quaint X-rated 70's movie?

    The best of the softcore films from those days were the British comedies. Things like handymen who got involved with at home wives. Today, things are too "serious" so they feign gravitas the movie will not have.

    So I'm guessing this is just another ripoff of the title. The first Emmanuelle was very much a movie of its time, there's no way the title character will be anything like her.
