• "Top Gun: Maverick." What, no CHINESE in the cast?

From RichA@21:1/5 to All on Sat May 21 00:50:11 2022
Kind of hard I guess considering THEY may be the next enemy the navy has to do battle with. Divided loyalties and all...

With Cruises deep scientology connection I'll wait for the DVD version in public libraries.

Saw it with a free pass. So nobody made money off me except the $3 car wash I stopped at.
A very saccharin version of navy life but worthy of theater viewing for jet aficionadoes.

I found it a drag. Nothing to draw in the viewer, just mopey nostalgia and a mythical enemy.

Aviation fans, for sure. That P-51 at the end is Cruise's and he had it adapted to be a two-seater. Great flying in a stupid movie.

Iran or North Korea would be a long shot. But having the carrier alone nearby is stretching believability. My theater had the reclining seats, Blankets and servers. Servers interrupted my viewing scurrying about the room. But i had a free pass.
Also could have been future Krauts in Chilean Andes.
