    I remember standing in line at the Houston, Texas Galleria skating rink
    hoping to get in to one of the four screens showing Star Wars in June
    ??? 1977. One of my buddies talked me into going to see it, the three
    hour wait was worth it. The line stretched all around all around the
    skating rink.

    I listened to a partial podcast last night, "Star Wars: The
    Multi-Billion Dollar Franchise That Never Should Have Succeeded"

    George Lucas totally reinvented how science fiction films were made in
    order to retell the Saturday morning serials.
