    says something
    hes headed to jail

    you can hear
    him talking under his
    breath
    again

    mumbles
    stumbles
    he's not for jesus
    again
    pissed off at you
    if hes had enough
    he makes sure
    you can hear what he
    or she says

    some mumbles are black
    some are white
    but you really have to keep it
    to a whisper
    to really do what you said
    it's not talking under your breath

    its being heard
    theres a problem with it

    here and there
    i shouldn't think to myself
    "did i just hear that"
    i should hear like
    from ladies
    i want to have strawberries with you

    or kick them off the greyhound buss in winnemucca

    when they try to become rock stars in portland
