I don't know where half the settings are. I did find post approval and edit approval; they're both turned off.

I can't tell if you're already an admin and how to add you if you aren't. That may help with this, probably not, but it would be better to have more than 1 admin in general.

This one would be great to add next to Jack Kerouac by Natalie Merchant.

Actually, there's Allen Ginsberg's collaboration with The Clash that would make a nice trinity of Beat poets:

It's your topic, Will, and you normally don't post that much; so this time, when it's a topic you picked, you should post all the videos you want and they should all go in. So of course Ginsberg and the Clash are going in too. That gives you 6 songs and
about 30 minutes, and out of just under 75 minutes total.

I'm not sure if you tried to post the Dead yet, but I don't see it in the spam filter. I need you to post that and the Clash, just once, and ping! me on facebook - I've left it open on the music group, so I can go right in and get them on.

I'll probably use different videos for both the Clash (bc it's a still) and the Dead (because the sound is so low), but I'd say use those videos on f/b - the Dead because of the pictures, and the Clash because the only video I can find is just something
a fan shot and set to the song -- I'm using it on YT because I need a video, but the still would work as well or better on f/b. I can use a live video of the Dead on YT, but because we need Ginsberg I probably won't find one for the Clash.

I'd also like a video with better sound for 10,000 Maniacs, but there doesn't seem to be one.

Anyway, post those two, just the one time each, and give me a ping!

If you don't mind, I'd like to save that. I've been thinking that, since there's one more Saturday left in NaPoMo, we could also do a Poems Dancehall -- of poets and others performing their poetry as songs. When I thought of the idea, two songs popped
into my head -- a version of "How Do I Love Thee" on the blog, and a member of Pink Floyd performing "Shall I compare thee to a summer's day" that I've seen. When I suggested it to MD, she thought of John Lennon's "Grow Old with Me" (which uses lines
from Browning's "Rabbi ben Ezra" so I'd count it though it's not strictly a poem).

The YT Dancehalls usually divide into a light and a heavy side. All the above would be "light". Waldman's would be the first "heavy" song for the list.

That's not a big list, but we'd have a full week to add to it.

What do you think? Good idea, or overkill?
