Today's poem on Penny's Poetry Blog:
Winter, by Walter de la Mare

    Clouded with snow
    The cold winds blow,
    And shrill on leafless bough

Again, thanks to George Dance for helping keep these obscure poets and
    poetry available for interested readers.

It's certainly a welcome change from a lot of today's poetry. I print
the poems I find and enjoy, and I'm sure others might enjoy it as well.

I realize that some may not like me simply giving a sample of the poem,
rather than giving my opinion of the poem. But I think the former is a
    better way to
give readers judge whether if they'll like the poem or not, before going
to the blog. That gives them an immediate idea of both the poems content
and its form, style, and allows them to make up their own minds without pressure; whereas my telling them about the poem would not do either as
well. To use the old cliche, the rule is "Show, Don't Tell."
