Hello George, this is a good time to suggest some poetry by
Leonora Speyer, which fits the spring theme:

Yes, spring's a good time to think of Leonora Speyer (for whom
spring was a frequent subject), but a better place would be in her
own thread. Speyer is almost forgotten these days, but was well
known as both a violinist and a poet in the early half of the 20th
century, winning the Pulitzer Prize in Poetry in 1927. She deserves
her own place on aapc, rather than just crammed in at the bottom of
    a thread on someone else.

(That link looks odd but hopefully it'll work.)

Here's a link to 10 of Speyer's poems on the Academy of American
    Poets site.

There's also a Wikipedia article on her, but I won't give that
link. Instead I'll link the Penny's Poetry Pages article, which is
essentially the same, but also includes links to both of her poetry
collections, as well as a video of one of her poems, "Spring
    Cowardice." https://pennyspoetry.fandom.com/wiki/Leonora_Speyer

    Again, good find.
