Absolutely. George Dance accused us of plagiarizing a line but

provided

no verifiable proof. "NancyGene lifts a line" is a direct accusation

of

plagiarism.

5) When asked, you refused to reveal your source for this Creeley

poem;

refused to quote even four lines of it; but
6) claimed that you had purchased a copy of the book that it appears
from Amazon, and that you were waiting for the book's arrival.

At least seventeen days later, no book, no proof that such a poem
exists, and no apology from George Dance to us. Even by dogsled,

Amazon

would have gotten the book to George Dance by now.

Well, George, that was approximately 3 weeks ago, and the book has

not

turned up (at least not in this group). One can only conclude that
either no such book ever existed, or else that the book arrived

without

the line you claimed had been "lifted."

There is no proof that George Dance even ordered such a book. Why

should

he, since he in all probability knows that he made up the accusation.

At this point, any decent human being would have offered a sincere
apology to NancyGene, and admitted that he had acted in a petty, and
unprofessional manner.

Key word there is "decent."

You, otoh, have chosen to continue your personal attacks on her
(immediately above), calling her childish names like "NastyGoon" and
claiming that she is being "cunty."

We have some descriptive words to use about George Dance.

I could through a slew of negative adjectives your way, but what's

the

point?

The point is on the top of George Dance's head.

Your own words condemn you far more thoroughly and irrevocably than

any

invective I could supply.

Still, USENET needs to record the words that describe George Dance's
behavior "forever." We will do our part to make sure that any future
generations know what a liar, plagiarist, misogynist, and foul-mouthed
person George Dance is and was. The "was" is used because soon George
Dance, dementia sufferer, won't know the difference between a poem and

a

home, and he won't be in his father's house.
