    The Enterprise is carrying samples of a bunch of very dangerous microbes. One of the samples begins to grow, and will break out of the containment field within two hours. The supervisor fears that if the container is beamed into space, it will bump
    into a ship or a planet and wreck havoc. Why not just dump the samples into a star? Or beam them out energy only as per "Lonely Among Us"?

    Ian Andrew must have eaten a LOT to be able to grow to 8 years old in a matter of days!

    But how was the fetus able to grow to term in 36 hours without draining Deanna Troi's systems dry?
