Laura Vandervoort is OUT OF CONTROL (2009).

The best I can say about this mess on the Tubi is that this is Smallville
Laura when she still ate a salad a week, the year before Into the Blue Two Electric Boogaloo.

This is a weird movie in that it copies Booby Vista’s story arc from CSI Horatio in the same year, with Laura as Eva LaRue.

But the nominal story that the synopsis mention involves a copette with
drug problems and yet she’s a different character, seemingly from a
different movie just spliced into this to extend the running time or
something.

If I tell you that Gus is the CSI Horatio Rob Estes‘s character you can pretty much figure out where the whole thing goes.

There’s just enough plot to sustain a movie that has a good deal of gratuitous nudity and yet this one has none.

IMdB gives it twos and threes and zeros.

It only has 15 reviews, one of which is a totally bogus 10, so I actually reviewed it and gave it a one to see if I could affect the aggregate score
of five.

I am quite sure this was on Lifetime, back in the day, so I'm sure I've
seen it. But I don't think I've seen the whole thing in over a decade.

I want to say I've seen one flick where Amy Sloan turns out to be the
crazed killer at the end - is it this one?!...

You pointed me at it probably because of Laura. It’s been sitting in my outbox for like a year waiting for me to finish and send.
