In Michigan, a woman bought a $1 million home and stopped paying the
mortgage. She then delayed the bank taking possession by filing a series
of false bankruptcies. She herself had prepared bankruptcy filings but
was ordered to no longer prepare those on behalf of other people due to
fraud. In this case, three people filed bankruptcies naming the house as
    their residence.

The attorney read the eye-popping finding of the bankrupcy court into
    the state court record.

The woman who committed fraud was not showing up for depositions and
    skipped court dates.

In the meantime, a woman who stated she was the occupant was not allowed
to speak as she wasn't a party to the case. She claimed to have a lease
but this wasn't presented. At first she said she wasn't going to
recognize the court's jurisdiction then changed her mind.

I cannot tell if she's truly an innocent victim but it sounded like she
was paying well below market rent. The judge set the rent at $15,000 for
the named party (not the occupant) if an appeal were to be filed but
    that's doubtful.

The video's title calls her a squatter but it doesn't appear that she is
given that it sounds like she was paying something.
