    Gah.
I'm skeptical that this is a good idea, and really, really skeptical
that they can pull this off and make it funny (again).

    Also, a weird one....

Monster Island [Orang Ikan]        (movie)           (3:01 am, Shudder/

labor. After being torpedoed by allied submarines, a Japanese soldier
and a British POW are stranded on a deserted island and soon discover
that they’re being hunted by a ferocious mythological creature, the
Orang Ikan. Both the soldier and POW realize that they must work
together to survive the unknown, despite their differences. IMDb lists

    Oh, Shudder!! :p

        Broadcast and cable:

Big Brother: Unlocked         [new]         (8 pm, CBS)

Former Big Brother contestants reveal their experiences on the show and analyze gameplay from the current season. Episodes air every other
Friday. [The Futon Critic treats these episodes as part of the "Big
Brother" series rather than as a separate series. Other sources consider
    it separate.]

    Gah!

Secrets of an Influencer       (movie; linear or US premiere?) (8 pm, LMN)

Jess [Kyla Nova] works at a struggling inn and is obsessed with popular lifestyle influencer Amanda Jane [Ashley Brinkman]. Jess pitches to
owner that she should comp Amanda a stay at the inn for a weekend. IMDb
lists prior release dates for Canada and the US, but the movie doesn't
appear in my previous programming lists (under either its current title
or its previous title, "Influenced to Kill"), so I am not sure of its
    release history.

Saw this. I had not seen it before, and it ended up being better than I
    was expecting.

I also am confused by IMDb's release claims - best I can figure, it was released in 2024 "to the internet" (whatever that means - it may mean
that it went to Prime Video, but you had to pay to watch it...).

            Saturday, July 26

The Penguin Lessons        (movie)        (3:01 am, Netflix)

El Jaber, Björn Gustafsson, David Herrero, and Alfonsina Carrocio. Not available on the ad tier.

    Ack.

    Is our Adam hosting?...

Before Your Father Finds Us       (movie)       (8 pm, Lifetime Channel)

Sophia and her daughter are forced to go into witness protection after
she has to testify against her ex-husband Mason for his crimes. After
years of living a seemingly normal life, Sophia learns that Mason has
escaped from his maximum security prison. Stars Alexa PenaVega, Tahmoh Penikett and Jaeda Lily Miller.

Just watched this. About what you'd expect, though this was obviously a
"top tier" Lifetime project, as it actually has a cast with recognizable
    names and faces.

Vicious Murder       (movie; linear premier)       (8 pm, Lifetime Channel)

With his crypto empire on the brink, a businessman conspires to murder
his wife and steal her fortune but uncovers a web of deception in the process. Drew Sidora, Tremayne Norris, Arica Adams, Andre Chetverikoff

Not sure I am bothering with this one - I may give it a pass.
