I'm starting to (selectively) try to catch up on the soaps I missed.

So yesterday I got through an episode of DOOL - Belle decides to get
back together with EJ (idiot!), and Jada and Rafe try to figure out who
stole the memory card from Rafe's planted electronic bug at EJ's. Xander apologizes to Philip!

But I got through 3 episodes of GH, which were mostly a blast! as Tracy Qaurtermaine uses the press conference coerced on her by NuDrew and
Martin Gray to use Cody to make a monkey out of Drew and humiliate
Martin Gray! Meanwhile, Nina desperately tries to figure out ways to
stop Willow (who is definitely not in her "right mind" these days!) from marrying Drew. Portia gets into it with NuNuJordan (I think this one is
Jordan #3...) over Jordan's obvious interest in getting back together
    with Curtis.

    I Watched:

Nautilus - I streamed the first two episodes from AMC On Demand. Shazad
Latif (From Star Trek: Discovery) stars as Captain Nemo who in the first
two episodes frees himself from slavery and steals the Nautilus from the British empire. The Brits then chase after him to get their submarine
back. So far I am not impressed. Overall, I think my main issue with
the series is there are no likable characters and it was pretty boring.
But I'm willing to stick with it to see if it gets better.

I started COUNTDOWN on the Primes. Starring Jensen Ackles, Eric Dane, and Jessica Camacho (the girl who crashed into me on my bike in Santa Monica)
about an FBI task force in L.A. trying to track down a WMD on a ticking
    clock.

It was okay. Typical Hollywood stereotypes of cops and police work--
everyone's improbably attractive, all action, no paperwork or real investigating. And when they catch the bad guys-- if they're still alive--
they do the standard Hollywood cop thing of immediately handing them off to
the nearest no-name officer in uniform and totally forget about him. No booking, no paperwork, no taking him to his arraignment, nothing. But the
girls are cute and the stunts are decent, so I'll stick with it for now.

I've made it for the first two episodes. It was okay except for the
flashback scenes as those seemed to drag on forever to me even though
    they were relatively short.

I also got in the first few episodes of REVIVAL, where people who died
on a given day magically come back to life dressed in the clothes they
had on when they died. Amazingly enough they heal from any damage even
having their head cleaved in half but otherwise seem perfectly normal.

Lastly I guess I'll mention the last couple of episodes of RICK &
MORTY being typical Rick & Morty episodes

Speaking of which, there's Lana Turner, a platinum blonde ordinary
housewife. TCM had The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946) on earlier.
James M. Cain hated the adaptation.

    Hey, thanks for asking!

I watched the Jessica Green goodtime hour a.k.a. the archivists warehouse
    14. OK it was the librarians the next chapter. I don’t think I mentioned
this about last weeks episode, house of cards, where they are trapped in
tarot deck And literally fight Satan. Notably they use the music of Bernard Hermann’s main title for North by Northwest! Not sure how they got away
with that and then this week, the con con, they used the running and
    jumping theme from Doctor Who!

No original cast members in either episode. It continues to be a pleasant diversion.

I also watched the senses shattering series finale of 12 o’clock High (Ian please note the correct spelling). They must’ve really hated Paul Burke by the end of production. They made it look like they had killed him off and
then in the epilogue said he was OK and like in the next room, but never
showed him and just talked about him. Guy didn’t even get to finish his own series.

Most of what I’m watching these days are reruns. Old reruns. Does anybody really want me to report that a 50-year-old to tell the truth episode had Malcolm Forbes on it and nobody knew who he was?

    Hey, thanks for asking!

I watched the Jessica Green goodtime hour a.k.a. the
archivists warehouse 14. OK it was the librarians the
next chapter. I don’t think I mentioned this about last
weeks episode, house of cards, where they are trapped in
tarot deck And literally fight Satan. Notably they use
    the music of Bernard
Hermann’s main title for North by Northwest! Not sure
how they got away with that and then this week, the con
con, they used the running and jumping theme from Doctor
    Who!

No original cast members in either episode. It continues
    to be a pleasant diversion.

I also watched the senses shattering series finale of 12
o’clock High (Ian please note the correct spelling). They
must’ve really hated Paul Burke by the end of production.
They made it look like they had killed him off and then in
the epilogue said he was OK and like in the next room, but
never showed him and just talked about him. Guy didn’t
even get to finish his own series.

Most of what I’m watching these days are reruns. Old
reruns. Does anybody really want me to report that a
50-year-old to tell the truth episode had Malcolm Forbes
on it and nobody knew who he was?

No, but I'd love to hear your take on the episode with
a young Jacques Pepin when no one thought that he was
    Charles deGaulle's chef.

Nyssa, who likes watching old Jacques Pepin cooking
    shows

Haven’t seen that one. They just run them more or less randomly with no identification so it’s catch as catch can.

I've never seen the entire episode with Pepin, just a
few clips. The main thing was none of the panelists
could believe that someone (then) so young could have
    been in that post.

They had fake Pepins who were all much older and portrayed
the typical arrogant French chef stereotype.

I hope you can catch it in the random rotation.

Nyssa, who wouldn't mind seeing it again either
