    Lalo Schifrin wrote the scores to movies from the '60s and '70s that I
    grew up with.

    Don Siegel directing a movie starring Clint Eastwood with a score
    written by Schifrin was an unbeatable combination. Well, I really liked
    the score for Charlie Varrick (1973) too even though that starred Walter
    Mathau and Dean Wormer.

    TCM did Cool Hand Luke this afternoon with another well-known Lalo
    Schifrin score.
