Too bad. I liked this show. It was like "The Rookie", but attempted as a someone serious and realistic TV cop show. And I liked the 30-minute
episode format too.
There is no hope this show will find another home - in the current TV environment that pretty much never happens (and when it does, it's only
when a studio is producing a TV show for a rival network and then can
move it to their in-house TV network - e.g. "9-1-1"). The days of TV
shows jumping networks(/streamers) is long over.
I like this show too and was looking forward to further seasons. The
article is less pessimistic about the prospects of it finding a new home
on another network than you are; I hope that happens. Dick Wolf is a
heavy hitter in the industry so even if one streamer says no to him, I
expect others might say yes.
