    A judge that heads a commission that was writing new guidelines for
    sentencing that would basically reduce sentences for everyone that is
    young, female, pregnant or a member of a minority group is unhappy that virtually the entire legal community has come out against his proposed
    reforms have been paused. (NOTE: The judge insists that the reforms are
    a good and necessary idea and the ruling Labour Party has frequently
    been fond of this sort of thinking in the past so these reforms may well reappear in the future.)
