It's almost like two different people.

Turns out this is just scratching the surface. How radicalized has the
Democrat party become on border security and illegal immigration? Let's
    see...

Here's 2008 Chuckie Schumer stating unequivocally that illegal immigration is wrong and so are all the euphemisms (like "undocumented migrants") that are used to disguise it.

    https://video.twimg.com/amplify_video/1907939070392545281/vid/avc1/656x480/CBTNs3hTrrTAfayS.mp4?tag=16

(I'd also like an explanation as to how Chuckie's hairline was farther back on his head in the 90s than it is now in 2025!)

Here's Bill Clinton in 1995 railing against the abuses of American generosity that illegals are responsible for. This is almost identical to a 2025 Trump speech.

    https://video.twimg.com/amplify_video/1832581855217938432/vid/avc1/960x720/zpVnKxHxebhmt8Ie.mp4?tag=16

And Obama in 2005, "We simply can not allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented, unchecked, and circumventing the line of people who are waiting lawfully."

    https://video.twimg.com/amplify_video/1832582208789323776/vid/avc1/1280x720/X_4S0xv33obfeuLG.mp4?tag=16

Even Bernie Sanders said in 2015 that the border needs to be secured, saying doing otherwise would erase our national sovereignty. Of course, then his natural lunacy emerged as he tried to claim "open borders" is what Republicans want.

And here's Stretch Pelosi making Trump's case for tariffs on China back in 1996:

Trump is basically just a Democrat from the 1990s.

Can you find a prominent Democrat who had a different opinion during
    that period?

You're also going to find plenty of Republicans who weren't
anti-immigrant. Given that naturalized persons are tending to vote
Republican, both parties are getting the politics very wrong.
