Potter stars among tributes to Sir Michael Gambon
-------------------------------------------------
Harry Potter co-stars of Sir Michael Gambon, who
played Professor Albus Dumbledore in six films, are
among those paying tribute to the stage and screen
legend after his death aged 82.

:-(
There was a segment of BBC World Newshour about Gambon.
It absolutely gushed with praise for the actor and
noted before he turned to drama he was more known for his
comedic work. I guess he got his "Sir" based on the
dramatic stuff.
If anyone would care to sample his pre-drama comedy,
look around for a BBC sitcom he did with Richard Briers
called "The Other One."
I bought the DVD based on Briers being in it, but it
was so bad that I was embarrassed for the actors while
I watched it.
It was sooooo bad! Anyone wants the Region 2 DVD of it,
I'd be more than happy to mail it to anyone who wants it.
Nyssa, who got suckered into it by Briers, but Gambon
was no thrill in it either
P.S.: RIP Michael Gambon. I won't hold one turkey against
the rest of your outstanding career
